Wanderer's Questions
When I come, hooded,
grizzled,
gray-bearded to your door,
How will you treat me?
When I wander,
leaning on the
worn remnants of a beggar's staff, road dirt of
worlds on worlds
on my face,
How will you see me?
When no dog barks, and I
walk calmly
to your front door,
How will you greet me?
Know well to answer these questions,
then you may know worth.
